Division : Group Strategy and Product Expansion

You will join the Product Excellence team, responsible for the pricing strategy and set-up, the analysis and forecast of Euroclear group business revenues, and the support of business development and commercial strategies with in-depth quantitative analysis

Roles and Responsibilities :

You will be involved in all activities of the team, in a wide range of responsibilities including :

  • Support the Head of Product Excellence team in the day-to-day management of the team
  • Foster the strategic thinking of pricing across the group and align the group pricing with the roll-out of the corporate strategy
  • Definition and implementation of pricing strategy for new or existing Euroclear product and services across the group.
  • Define and validate specific offers to some clients.
  • Quantitative and qualitative analysis of business drivers, client behaviour, client and service revenues and profitability, P&L evolution, competition, … These analysis are an essential part of the Product Management function as they serve as a key reference for setting prices of products and services, assessing business opportunities, building business cases for investments, follow-up after implementation of changes to identify possible adjustments.
  • Support and coordinate the financial budget for all business revenues of the group. This includes forecasts of business divers and revenues, as well as follow-up on actual performance to determine necessary budgetary adjustments throughout the year.
  • Report on product performance, in close cooperation with Finance division.
  • Specific duties related to the monthly billing processes in EB and ESES : tariff set-up, controls, issues resolution. We are actively participating to the deployment of a new billing system in Euroclear Bank : testing of the new solution, adapting processes and controls to new duties arising from this new system.

We are interacting with product managers, business intelligence, senior management, commercial, financial, legal and operations. You will use your business knowledge in the strategic thinking of the pricing and will hereby further deepen your understanding of our clients, products and services. Required Qualifications :

  • Strong skills for data manipulation and quantitative analysis, with relevant experience in Euroclear, earlier position or education (e.g. master degree in economics, engineering, business, mathematics, …)
  • Strong experience in using quantitative tooling (at least advanced Excel, preferably Python, R studio etc.) and databases
  • 8 years of working experience in the financial industry, knowledge of Euroclear product and/or clients in an asset
  • Ability to synthesise and draw relevant conclusions and key messages from data
  • Good communication and negotiation skills, able to present complex subjects and defend recommendations to senior managers
  • Written communication skills, able to produce to-the-point and clear documents and presentations for various audiences (up to senior management)
  • Stress resistant, willing to work under tight deadlines
  • Autonomous, with good personal organization
  • Team spirit
