A day in the life of an Application Support Agent
Your main duties will be:
- Support the Commission's officials in their daily work by helping them extract and treat data from the systems
- Help the users of the systems with questions or issues they might have and you will be required to communicate/attend meetings with other officials to support their work when the systems are used.
- Analysis of cases/notifications, creation of reports, do traceability exercises along the supply/food chain and present the findings of your work
- Provide training and assistance of the application to the Member States and European Commission's officials
- Maintain existing documentation, attend coordination meetings and you might be asked to perform some tests on the application
If you have
- Scientific background studies are a plus, preferably in one of the following fields: Food Safety, Food Technology, Agronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology
- Strong proficiency in working with web browsers, web-based tools, and social media tools
- European level C1 in English is mandatory
- Good analytical skills and quickly understand the process
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- High communication skills and ensure customer satisfaction
- Ability to work in an international/multicultural environment
- Strong team player with excellent relationship skills
- Stress resistant and able to impart knowledge at various levels
